Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of DoneLayer (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

What the Service Does

The Service accepts an article URL or free-form text (custom task) as input, uses AI to suggest actionable task candidates, and lets you manage and accumulate committed tasks. Pro provides a weekly AI-generated report analyzing your practice data, period comparisons in the Knowledge Map, and share cards that visualize your results as shareable images.

Eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
• Keep your account credentials (email address and password) confidential; do not share them with others.
• We may suspend your access without notice if unauthorized use of your account is detected.
• You are solely responsible for ensuring that any article URLs you submit comply with the terms, copyright, and access conditions of the target site. We make no guarantee as to the legality of such submissions.
• You are solely responsible for the content you enter in the custom task field. When entering content created by others, take care not to infringe copyright, privacy rights, or other rights.

Pro Plan

The Service offers a non-consumable, one-time paid plan called "Pro." All purchases and management of the Pro plan are handled exclusively through the Apple App Store.

• Price: A one-time purchase at the locally displayed App Store price.
• Purchase entitlement: The purchase entitlement does not expire, and there is no automatic renewal or recurring charge. This does not guarantee that the Service itself will remain available indefinitely.
• Restore: The purchase can be restored in the app on devices using the same Apple ID.
• Legacy monthly plan: The legacy monthly Premium plan is no longer offered to new customers. Any valid legacy entitlement remains available until its expiration and can be restored in the app.
• Refunds: Refunds are governed by Apple's refund policy. We do not process refunds directly.
• Feature changes: Features included in Pro may be changed, added, or removed without prior notice.
• Payment details: Credit card and payment information is managed by Apple. We do not access or store it.

Prohibited Conduct

The following conduct is prohibited:

• Any conduct that violates applicable laws or public order
• Intentionally submitting article URLs or custom text containing adult content, sexual material, violence, illegal activity, hate speech, or discriminatory content
• Entering personal information of third parties (names, addresses, contact details, etc.) in the custom task field
• Entering confidential business information, internal documents, or NDA-covered information in the custom task field
• Copying full copyrighted content into the custom task field without the rights holder's permission
• Unauthorized access to or placing excessive load on the Service
• Using the Service for commercial purposes (unless expressly permitted by us)
• Reverse engineering, copying, or modifying the Service
• Any other conduct we determine to be inappropriate

Intellectual Property

All copyright and other intellectual property rights in the Service's UI, design, and code belong to the Service operator.

We make no copyright claim over AI-generated task candidates or summaries. Content you personally edit or create (e.g., edits to task titles) remains yours. Copyright in submitted articles belongs to the respective authors and rights holders.

AI and Content Filtering

The Service sends article body text or custom task text to the Google Gemini API to generate task candidates. Google's Privacy Policy and Gemini API Terms of Service apply to submitted text. Task candidates may not be displayed in the following cases — this is intentional behavior, not a bug:

• Articles or text determined to contain adult content, sexual material, violence, illegal activity, or hate speech
• Content blocked by Google Gemini API safety filters
• Non-text URLs such as videos or PDFs

Disclaimer

• The Service is provided "as is." We do not guarantee completeness or uninterrupted availability.
• We make no guarantee as to the accuracy or usefulness of AI-generated task candidates.
• We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.
• The same applies to disruptions caused by third-party services (Supabase, Google Gemini API, Cloudflare, etc.).

Changes and Termination

We may change or terminate the Service without prior notice. We are not liable for any damages to users resulting from such changes or termination.

Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated without notice. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
